UxmalWith more than 150 buildings named Heritage of Mankind, Uxmal is the purest gem of Puuc art. The Governor’s Palace is one of the most significant constructions of the Pre-Columbian world. A walk through the city of Uxmal is a trip through the past and one of the most beautiful Mayan sites.
Coloradas and Rio LagartosWe will visit the pink lagoons, then we will be able to swim in the beach called Cancun, later we will visit the estuary by boat where we will see a large number of species of birds, crocodiles and especially the beautiful flamingos and at the end we will enjoy a delicious meal in front of the beach.
City Tour MéridaWe will visit the center or main square, the cathedral, the government palace, the church of the third order, the Peón Contreras theater and by vehicle we will be able to visit some of the most popular neighborhoods of Mérida, both on the old side and the modern part of the city. town. At the end we can visit the port of Progreso where you can enjoy a delicious meal on the boardwalk facing the sea . It does not include fee entrances or food.
CampecheDuring this tour we will visit the town of Becal where we will see how the hippie japa hats are made, then we will visit the imposing Mayan city of Edzna, later we will enjoy time to taste the delicious food and we will finish visiting the center, the cathedral , museums and a bus tour called the "handsome" which will take us for a walk through the most attractive points of the city.
BEE TOURWe will visit an apiary in the town of Sinanche, (as an option, we can have breakfast in Motul, place of motuleños egs) later in Sinanche we will be beekeepers for a few hours, we are going to be able to visit Europena and Meliona hives to learn mora about how the bees work and all the products that they produce in the hive. Later we will visit San Crisanto where we will navigate the Ria in a boat to see a great variety of species of birds, crocodiles and fish, the place is beautiful, then we can enjoy the beach and delicious food from the Yucatecan coast. On the way back to merida we will visit ths salt pounds by Xcambo archeologicla site . Full day trip :). Food not included.
Fishing tour or ride sailing through the Mayan Riviera (Puerto Aventuras).Leaving Puerto Aventura or from Mérida we take you to Puerto Aventuras Quintana Roo and return you to the city of Mérida at the end of the tour. (Transportation is quoted separately depending on the number of people).

We just spent two days with Argel visiting Uxmal and Chicen Itza (plus Cenotes, Valladolid, Mérida etc). It was an amazing experience thanks to Argel‘s profound knowledge of the Mayan culture and the archeological sites. And very fun, too- also for our teenagers who let’s say don’t have the longest attention span 🙂

ncredible! Argel is an fantastic guide and an amazing human being! He picked us up from Cancun and drove us to Merida via Ek Balam and Valladolid. Over the next few days he took us on customized day trips to Uxmal, (and nearby places) Chichen Itza and Izamal, Celestun, each with thoughtful explanations, studded with his gentle humor and respect for the Mayan culture. He timed our trips to avoid the crowds and the heat, and when he saw how interested we were in one aspect of Mayan history threw in an extra ruin at Kabah to our itinerary at no extra charge. On top, we were blown away by his kindness and going out of the way to accommodate our wishes, including a mad dash on the last evening to find bubble wrap and a cartboard box for a weirdly sized impulse buy! If you want an honest, hardworking, knowledgable and caring guide, Argel is your man!

Argel and his team went above and beyond to provide great service. The interesting guides made the visits to the towns and ruins extra special. The drivers were always punctual, friendly and safe. Argel helped us with translation in shops and was very patient and caring of our whole family, including our elderly parents. He got me medicine for my cold which really helped and gave us each a bottle of his delicious honey from his own bees! We can’t wait to go back to visit more of this beautiful part of the world and will definitely contact Argel for his services again.

Argel is one of the most kind and patient people we have ever known.
We stayed in Merida and used his services for the 3rd straight year in November ’23.
He knows everywhere to go and and will literally guide you safely, door to door, to any experience you desire.
We have done ruin tours, cenote tours, beach tours, cave tours, and city tours with him and we would NOT hesitate to recommend his services to anyone. My 2 teenage daughters particularly enjoyed his daily gentle demeanor. We felt so very safe with Argel we even sent our daughters with him for a cenote tour day one day when I was not feeling well.
He also went way above and beyond his duties when I had a minor medical issue while in Merida. He picked me up, took me to the hospital, and stayed with me every moment while translating every word from emergency room to pharmacy and back home many hours later.
I cannot recommend this very kind man enough. Don’t think twice, just go ahead and book anything with him.

I have nothing but praise for our driver and our organizer Alvaro or Alvie as he liked to be called. Alvie was not only our driver but became a companion for the two days that we hired his services. Not only a wonderful competent driver, but someone who endured himself to the four of us as somewhat of a friend. Two days full of sightseeing went seamlessly with Alvie,and we were able to enjoy the bounty that the Peninsula has to offer. I highly recommend this tour company and of course having Alvie as your driver makes it all so special.

Our tour guide Argel was just awesome. A very friendly and helpful man who told us so much about Mexico and the Mayan culture. He has great knowledge about history and so it was just the best desicion to go to Chichen Itza with him. We went from Valladolid to Mérida and he stopped wherever we wanted to.

Pedro Quiñones para visitar las Coloradas con mi familia mis dos hijas mi prima, sobrina y mi esposo un día antes me enfermé del estómago y el Sr. muy amable me regalo una pastilla maravillosa que todo el paseo me la pase muy a gusto sin dolor , después volvimos a ir con él a chichenitzan museos , Valladolid y después a Campeche a ruinas , museos solo a mi esposo , hija y yo nos llevo a comer muy rico todo y ya para terminar el recorrido nos llovió con truenos y relámpagos y él mojándose se fue por la camioneta para podernos subir sin que nosotros nos mojáramos es muy agradable muy amena todo nos explicaba todo lo que hibamos viendo . Claro que lo recomiendo ampliamente a todos que quieran visitar estos lugares maravillosos y si nosotros volvemos a ir a Yucatán claro que lo contrataríamos de nuevo es una persona muy especial , caballerosa y amable . We had a wonderful time during our visit to the hacienda, Uxmal, cenote, lunch, and a chocolate factory. Everything was set up perfectly with even towels and water for us! Alvaro was our guide and he was very nice and patient. He let us take our time at each stop and rearrange the schedule when my sons got hangry. ? All of the stops were breathtaking and the authentic Mayan food was amazing! When we are back in Mérida, we will definitely use this tour service! Highly recommend

Argel was our guide for the entire weekend. Argel has a vast knowledge of the culture, history, traditions, and language my friends and I felt comfortable around him from the moment he arrived (early, we felt bad we had to ask him to wait, which he graciously did)! He made suggestions for our trip that added to the memories and good times. His English is perfect and his Spanish as well. He even drove us to the airport. Argel is a gem and my only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. But I will definitely request argel next trip down to Merida

We had a most wonderful guided trip with Argel Pedro during our recent journey to Mérida. His services were arranged by our hosts at The Diplomat Hotel and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Argel arrived promptly on the morning of our trip to Chichén Itzá in order to avoid the largest crowds. His vehicle was clean and comfortable and he was even willing to stop by an ATM for us to get some extra spending cash for the day’s excursion.
Argel was very friendly, incredibly informative and quite knowledgeable about the area’s rich history. It was abundantly clear that he is also well respected amongst the corps of guides at Chichén Itzá, as he was warmly greeted by several other guides upon our arrival and as we strolled around the grounds.
Once we left the ruins, Argel took us to two different cenotes: Yokdzonot, which was open, and Chihuán, which was completely closed and underground. Both were very different and extremely cool. Really unique experiences!
Lastly, we visited the town of Izamal. We had an absolutely terrific lunch at Kinich ~ highly recommend a visit to this festive eatery. Delicious food, great service and we even got to meet the hardworking chef herself. After lunch, we climbed to the top of the town’s remnant Mayan pyramid and then drove over to the monastery and walked around and explored the grounds there.
It ended up being a very full day and one of the most memorable parts of our entire 12-day trip to Mexico’s beautiful Yucatán Peninsula. Many thanks for a wonderful and informative trip, Argel!

Argel was one of the single most differentiating factors of our entire trip in Merida. He was our private driver all day to visit Uxmal and a cenote. He went above and beyond in so many instances to not only make sure we enjoyed our day sightseeing, but also to help us with other requests that went far beyond his call of duty. He had lots of extra chargers in the car, helped us find a location for my friend to pump after lunch and even took us to a grocery store so we could buy a bottle of wine on the way home, escorting us directly to the wine section and helping us navigate the whole process. The whole time his demeanor was calm, patient and caring. Would use his service any day.

Spent a day with Yucatan Awesome Tours (Argel) and had a fantastic trip. There were 5 of us and he picked us up in a very clean and comfortable van. We did the Uxmal tour, to the Chocolate Museum, lunch, Cenote Kankiricxche and Hacienda Yaxcopoil. He was super responsive and picked us up a few minutes early which was great. He suggested the place for lunch and the food was amazing. We had someone in our party that was 83 and Argel was very conscious about bringing the van closer to the doors for her, making sure she was taken care of which was super helpful. And Argel is a super nice and personable person to hang out with as well. I would highly, highly recommend using Yucatan Awesome Tours and will do so myself when we have friends and family in town.

Angel is a prince! You could not ask for a better tour guide and driver. Besides being a kind and gentle soul, he is incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly loves sharing the history, culture, and other highlights of the region. This was my first trip to Merida, and I knew very little about where to go and what to do. Angel made terrific recommendations, and was always either on time or early for pickups. Yet he was still super flexible and easy going regarding last minute changes of plan or stops for whatever. I’d recommend him in a heartbeat. I only wish I could clone a European version of him to show me around Italy and Spain.

A month later we were supposed to fly back to Merida but had issues with our flight into Merida so we had to book a flight to Cancun. We called him and asked if he could pick us up and drive us to Merida. He was there waiting for us when we walked out of the airport in Cancun. los primeros dias de mayo, mi esposa y yo estuvimos en MERIDA , caminando por la calle 60 una señora nos ofrecio un volante con diferentes tours, pero como no lo habiamos pensado pues seguimos caminando y ya por la tarde despues de comer sacamos el papelito y vimos las opciones que tenian de tours, la señora que nos lo entrego nois dijo que si decidiamos algo para el dia siguiente que le llamaramos antes de las 9 de la noche y asi lo hicimos, le llamamos y al dia siguiente paso a recogernos un señor muy puntual educado , nos llamo la atencion su nombre ARGEL PEDRO , pasamos despues a recoger a una pareja de suizos unos jovenes muy agradable., bueno quiero agradecer a ARGEL el dia que nos hizo pasar, nos llevo a un zenote a nadar, pasamos a IZAMAL fuimos a un pueblo donde hacen los sombreros de jipi, pasamos a comer a un excelente restaurante de comida yucateca con la mejor cochinita pibil, tortillas recien hechas y aparte el me consiguio las semillas de achiote que aca por el norte no se conocen., la cereza del pastel CHICHEN ITZA., lo mejor del viaje, pero la verdad es que este dia no hubiera sido lo mismo sin las atenciones y las explicaciones del sr. ARGEL, estoy seguro que fue la gran diferencia , su platica, su actitud y mas que nada su entrega en el servicio., muchisimas gracias y una felicitaciones para ARGEL

Vinieron mis abuelitos y los llevamos a pasear a Celestún. Nos gustó mucho el viaje. Encontramos la página de Argel en la web y nos gustó mucho su servicio. Nos sentimos cómodos y seguros en la camioneta, estaba limpia. Sus explicaciones del lugar fueron claras. En el sitio a donde nos llevo a comer estuvo deliciosa y la comida sobre todo muy bien cuidados con las medidas de seguridad y salubridad por la pandemia, todo muy desinfectado y seguro. En todo momento Argel nos cuido y nos guío muy bien. Lo recomendamos ampliamente.

Excelentes tours, muy completos y variados, aprovechamos muy bien el tiempo, conocimos hermosos lugares. Argel nuestro guía es una persona muy responsable, puntual y siempre al pendiente de todo en todo momento, aparte de tener todo el conocimiento de los lugares visitados, 100% recomendable!!

Mi mamá y yo tomamos dos tours, uno a Valladolid, Izamal y Ek Balam y otro a la Hacienda Yaxcopoil y Uxmal. Ambos tours nos fascinaron, conocimos mucho de Yucatán y fuimos a comer a lugares deliciosos.
Además de que Argel es una persona sumamente atenta, con mucho conocimiento, y muy equipado, llevó bebidas y toallas.
¡Un excelente servicio, la mejor forma de conocer la península!

Nos visitaron familiares la semana pasada y encontramos a Argel en la web. Sus servicios fueron increíbles. Me gustó mucho su acompañamiento. Hizo de nuestra visita algo único, lo recomendamos ampliamente. La camioneta en las que viajamos estaba súper limpia y cómoda y en excelente estado. Nos sentimos muy seguros durante el viaje.
